Psychiatric nurse practitioners assess patients' mental and physical health, develop treatment plans, consult with other health professionals, and manage medications. I am able to offer these services either billed through accepted insurances or paid at an out of pocket expense. Reimbursement is negotiated with insurance companies and a copay may apply. A "Super Bill" is able to be generated in the Patient Portal for those who pay in advances and submit for reimbursement via insurance or other means.
I offer in-person or telepsychiatry appointments. In-person appointments are limited and may only be offered on specific day(s).
ALL clients must have an initial assessment performed even if evaluated by another provider previously. This process entails a review of psychiatric and medical history, historic lab work/studies, review/confirmation of diagnoses, and developing goals of treatment. Appointment of this type are usually an hour long for thoroughness and development of treatment plan.
Subsequent to Comprehensive Psychiatric Assessments; these appointments entail management and adjustment of treatments. These appointment typically occur at minimum of every 12 weeks and a maximum of every 4 weeks due to the nature of treatments. A four week follow up is usually scheduled after the Comprehensive Psychiatric Assessment. Appointments typically range from 15-30 minutes and depend on clinical complexity and needs.
If an appointment is missed without 24 hours notice of cancellation a fee will charged to payment on file. These are not covered by insurance. You will have a reminder of your appointment sent via text.
